storypike’s aim is to be a collection of local narratives. Think of it as a catalog or an archive of true stories from the neighborhood, or a neighborhood down the road. It was started as a way to explore and to connect with various communities in Virginia and beyond, and to share such experiences through the written word, photography, and art.

storypike is written by Megan Zalecki, unless otherwise noted.

For two years Megan worked as a regular contributor and co-editor of the late Richmond Arts Review, an online publication that offered reviews, news, and other insights on visual and performing arts in Richmond. Her writing has also been published in Style Weekly.

Most photographs are provided by Will Solis, unless otherwise noted.
Will is a photographer based in Charlottesville, Virginia whose work emphasizes current environmental and social issues.
